Lama's favourite quote

People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.

— Brian A. "Drew" Chalker

A woman outdoors with wind blowing her hair across her face, wearing a bright coral-red tank top and a gray-and-black shoulder strap. The background shows blurred green hills and a small building under an overcast sky.

A closer look

Hello, my name is Lama

I am an explorer of the ephemeral, deeply inspired by the organic fluidity and constant movement of nature. Drawn to impermanence and the quiet transformations of the living world, my creative practice is rooted in change, curiosity, and evolution.

Rather than confining myself to a single medium, I allow my work to flow freely across design, illustration, movement, and music. For me, each discipline is simply a different expression of the same creative current. My process mirrors the natural systems I admire: intuitive, adaptive, and ever-evolving.

Through my work, I invite others to embrace the beauty of the temporary and find meaning in life's continual state of becoming. I see transformation not as something to resist, but as something to move with, gracefully and openly.

Lama's favourite design

We asked Lama to pick one design and share it with everyone

I created this piece around the image of an egg sitting beneath a relentless rain. We often think an egg needs warmth to hatch, but in this scene, it just keeps raining.

For me, the work explores impermanence through the lens of stagnation. It's a reminder that even moments when we feel stuck, unable to move forward, are temporary. Stagnation itself is impermanent, something I find myself needing to remember again and again.

The image arrived fully formed in my mind, almost all at once, during the days leading up to my departure from Lebanon to Canada. Looking back, I think it reflected the uncertainty of that transition, the feeling of waiting for something to unfold while not yet knowing what was on the other side.
