Flowers of the Abyss, as described by Patricia Hakim, is a vision born from water and breath, where blossoms drift like whispers across the blue. Painted with acrylics, the canvas captures the fragile dance of petals that seem both rooted and free, as if the sea itself had given them shape. Between stillness and flow, this painting speaks of serenity, hidden strength, and the secret music of tides, inviting us into a dreamlike silence where mystery becomes clarity, and stillness unveils hidden truths. A portrait of purity, movement, and luminous calm.

À propos de l'artiste
Patricia Hakim
Patricia Hakim is a Lebanese-Canadian artist, author and audiovisual producer. Born in Beirut and based in Montreal, she has lived between the two cities, and that double belonging runs through everything she creates. She began her career as a radio host, until a surgical error took away her voice. After several operations, she speaks again, with a voice that is changed but unbroken in spirit. Her autobiographical novel "Les mots de mon silence", also published in Arabic, grew out of that silence, and she is also the author of the novel "Singulier Plurielles". Around 2019, she turned to painting, where color, texture and movement became a new language. Each canvas tells a story through hues and touch, turning emotion into something almost tangible.
