Fly Away, She Reads

Nay made this one a bit after the first (Fly Away), feeling like she needed to see what was inside the balloon. It originally held a couple sleeping together, safe in their own bubble, but it never felt right. The woman reading, alone, arrived instead, and immediately felt like the truer version of what she was trying to say. "That's what reading does to me," she says. "It's the same feeling. I transcend time and space; I go weightless, but I never actually leave. The ground is still right there underneath me, holding me, even while I'm somewhere else entirely."
