Made during a period of real anxiety. "I don't remember exactly where I encountered it," Ahmad says, "but the idea was that God has written everything. He provides for you the same way He provides for a small bird, or an ant in its hole. You're not actually required to worry that much." He describes himself sweating from stress, carrying the weight of feeling like he had to solve everything himself. "That idea met me right there. Just do what's yours to do and leave the outcome to Him. If the task is to draw, draw. Don't worry about results." The piece came out of that exact state of relief.
